Our Mission
The Mission of Norwood Community Television is to promote and provide access to and training in media and to facilitate the use of media, to inform, entertain and educate the community we serve.
Our Channels
NCT provides the following channels on Time-Warner Cable in Norwood.
Government Access 4
Government Access provides the community with a window through which to view the workings of their government. Programming from the city, county, state & federal level including meetings, information, announcements and elections help citizens make the important decisions that govern their lives.
Education Access 8 (digital)/15 (analog)
Education Access provides a threefold communication tool for the Norwood City Schools. NCS teachers and students can use the channel and facilities as educational tools, the community has the opportunity to use the channel to observe activities within the school district and NCS staff can make use of Education Access to communicate with the community.
Community Bulletin Board 15 (digital)/22 (analog)
The Community Bulletin Board is a great way to find out about upcoming events in the community. Norwood residents and Norwood-based organizations may announce their non-profit events on this channel.
Public Access 23
Public Access is the voice of the people of Norwood. Norwood residents or members of Norwood based organizations can produce or sponsor programs to communicate their point-of-view, inform the community, or entertain their neighbors.
Metro Access 24
Metro Access airs in communities throughout Hamilton County. NCT shares the channel with Anderson Community Television, Intercommunity Cable Regulatory Commission, Media Bridges and Waycross Community Media. Metro Access gives Norwood producers an opportunity to communicate with the larger community of Hamilton County and allows Norwood residents to see what is going on in other communities. Norwood programming can be seen on Thursdays from noon - 6pm; 7pm - 8pm; and 9pm - Midnight.
