of Norwood Street Sale Permits Exceed 200 May
5th & 6th will draw a record number of buyers & sellers. On Friday and Saturday, May 5th & 6th 2006, over 200 homeowners in
Norwood will be selling clothing, furniture, antiques and an endless supply
of unique and interesting items at the Annual Norwood City Wide Street Sale.
The sales begin on Friday at 9am and Saturday at 8am, concluding each day at
5pm. “This is a great way for neighbors to get to know each other, clean out the attic, basement or garage and make some money all at the same time. Every year it gets bigger and bigger.” Says Norwood Mayor Thomas Williams. “It’s always fun and it’s a great way for near by residents to ‘drive a little and save a lot". Jim Timmerman, President of Norwood Cable Television Advisory Board, went on to say. Community Television remind tri-state residents of several important points. · Pick up the list of all the sales and map from the Clerk of Courts at City Hall located at 4546 Montgomery Road or on-line at www.nctonline.org. · Wear good comfortable shoes. You’ll find many streets have multiple sales. · Bring as much cash and change as your feel comfortable carrying. Checks may not be accepted. ·
